AWL Week 1 Power Rankings

(Cavs are leading 1-0 against the lightning in the 2nd inning of game 2 of the series, but it was suspended to be finished next week)
1. Lakeview Lightning⚡️ Record: 6-1 Last week: 1
The Lakeview Lightning showed a weaker side of the team this week. The pitching was still okay from Garner, as he didn't give up any runs but the command was iffy. Noah and Hayes wern't great on the mound. The hitting struggled too. And there only run in their win against the Hornets should've been a double play, but Hudson slipped up and made an error. The Lightning are still 6-1 and look to finish out the season strong next week.
2. Hillside Hornets 🐝 Record: 3-5 Last week: 2
The Hillside Hornets struggled at the plate once again, but Hudson threw 5 1-run innings and kept his team in the games. The offense looked a bit better still. Levi had a big hit to set runners in scoring position early in game 2. That paved the way for Hudson's RBI ground out. Baxter also got a great hit to knock in a run aswell. The key to this team is winning the series over the Cavs, and gaining momentum into the playoffs.
3. Coastal Cavaliers 🗡️ Record: 2-5 Last week: 3
The Coastal Cavaliers had a rough show in the first game, but in the suspended game 2 currently have a 1 run lead. Windsor has been strong at the plate, now being tied in 2nd for the most RBI's. Windsor was taken out only after 2 hits though when he was pitching, and then those runs scored via a 3 run homer by Hayes. The Cavaliers, even if they win that suspended game, will still be in 3rd because of run differential. The Cavaliers will look to make a run next week to hopefully secure home field advantage in the playoffs,
